Carriere® Motion 3D™ Class II Correction Appliance

What Is a Class II Malocclusion?

A malocclusion is a bad bite. The most common type of malocclusion is an overbite, but only severe overbites are categorized as class II malocclusions. If left untreated, overbites can cause significant health complications, including irreparable damage to the teeth, temporomandibular joint disorders (TMD), greater risk of tooth decay and gum disease, jaw pain, headaches, discomfort while eating, difficulty fully opening or closing mouth, sleep apnea, and difficulty speaking.
